Hi, I am Bongiwe, and welcome to African Mum in Diaspora. I have created this space to share ideas and receive insights from other parents on raising children in a foreign land without compromising our values and losing our identity. As a Biomedical scientist and a married mother of three with children of varied ages, I understand the unique challenges we face. Here, I will share my personal experiences of motherhood and the obstacles encountered while raising children in the Diaspora. This platform aims to be a supportive community where we can exchange practical tips and advice, ensuring our cultural heritage is preserved and passed down to our children.
